Binding check-in devices and users

To increase security it was decided to bind a separate check-in device to each user.

One user - one authorized device at one point in time.

If the old device was lost (damaged) or there is no access to it it is possible to "unbind" the current device from the user. To do this you need to use the "Employees shifts" K2 form and proceed with two simple actions:

1. Select an employee and click on the phone icon

2. Enter the reason for the change in the Info field and press the Start button

If there are no current bindings for the user or there is already a started process, the author will see a warning:

If all the conditions are met then a process will be launched, which will require the approval of the restaurant manager and the Director of Operations. Upon completion, the author will receive a notification in Teams.

In what cases should a new business process be used?

The employee tries to check-in and sees the following message:

This means that this device is already binded to some other working employee. In such a case, you should to run the process by the employee specified in the error text.

When trying to check-in the following message appears:

This means that the employee already has bonded with another device. To start using a new device instead of the current one you need to start the process on the employee himself.

If you don't see any of these messages you shouldn't run the process!
